We bought this swing for our second child. My first child, a 4 year old, helped me put it together (with lots of supervision); and it was not hard to put together at all. The instructions were clear, and even the 4 year old figured out how to use it (not actually swing in it, but flip the switches, etc...) The baby loves it, and we are glad to have found it.
