Review of Tike Tech Single City X3 Swivel Stroller

I tried holding off to giving a review for the first two Tike Tech City X3 strollers I have received (same models), giving it the chance to redeem itself once i get the next replacement.I have purchased the third Tike Tech city X3 stroller already and I think its fair enough that I give my opinion on it.

There are a few good things about the stroller.Comparing it with the BOB revolution i bought at first, this one has enough headroom for a baby to a toddler.My baby is 10 months old and 31" tall.This stroller also had a good seat material.Easy to clean and soft to touch.It is also very maneuverable in tight spaces and rough roads.The shocks are very good.It is easy to fold and has a separate velcro strap for keeping it closed, unlike the BOB.The basket underneath is just ok.It is very accessible even when the seat is fully reclined but it doesnt hold much.Stuff could fall off the sides.The 5-point harness is good and the seat is firm which my baby like and falls asleep in.Unlike the hammock-style seat of BOB which my baby didnt like at all.He kept crying as soon as i put him in.The easy recline is definitely better than BOB.

Now for the bad stuff:the reasons why i kept returning the strollers were the same.The front wheel wobbles, even when just brisk walking, not running or jogging! The wobbling shakes the whole stroller, sometimes almost like violently. Its scary as if the wheel would fall off.

The left side of the hood/sunshade won't attach in 2 out of 3 strollers. It kept coming off when you open up the stroller from folded down position.

Lastly, the brake on the left side wont engage!It would start rolling to the right when parked especially in an angled plane.It is such a safety concern!

All these concerns were made worse though by bad customer service.Ive tried religiously calling their customer service number for several weeks.Not once was I able to get in touch with ANY customer representative.The recording will always tell me to leave a message.I would always leave my phone number but NEVER got a call back.I sent numerous emails but I only got a response after a week and a half which didn't actually solve anything. I even tried leaving a message on their Twitter page.No reply. Its been a month now and nothing was resolved.Even if I get another replacement and it works for now, I will not be confident to keep it because if a problem arise in the future, Im very sure I will not get any help from the manufacturer.

Some minor concerns are, it wont fit in a smaller sedan, (i have a Chevy Aveo), unless I remove all wheels and a lot of maneuvering to be able to get it in the trunk. Its very heavy (i think all joggers are anyway).

All in all, i wasn't happy with this experience, after spending almost a thousand dollars on three of the stroller.Im just glad Amazon has the best customer service which alleviated my bad experience somehow.
